My pocketful of sunshine

 

Hey fellow readers,

I’m Adrienne. Just a normal 17 year old aspiring to be someone someday. Currently studying in Trinity College at Melbourne. It’s been 7 months now and I can’t wait to go back in another 3 months’ time. Life’s been great so far. With tons of friends to have fun with and like freedom (which doesn’t really matter cause mom’s pretty nice). 

I felt that I’ve grown alot. From doing laundry to being thrifty when doing grocery shopping to cooking instant noodles and appreaciating Mac n Cheese. Learning the Melbourne roads were hard though, but I miss the unfamiliarity now. and and I know now how important it is to bring your keys around!

Then you learn stuff about friends and flexibilities, and taking your time. and studying your ass off to get into the university of your choice (which is freaking hard I tell you, it’s like 5 years of high school compressed into freaking 10 months). I’ve never studied so much in my life before, not in a nerdy way, but in a self accomplishment way. I know I’ve worked my ass off. and at the end of the day, I hope everything pays off with encouragement instead of discouragement that I always get from my dad.

I’m glad I came to Melbourne, and I’m glad for the friends I’ve made. I’m glad I’m making most out of life now. and I’m happier now than ever, if only my family was here! I’ll be the happiest.
