Dino sent me an email for the very first time! It was really funny, because I did not think that he would even thought of sending one. He’s in Hong Kong now for a holiday. That bummer. gets to go on a shopping spree. Sometimes I hate him sooo much.

Putting up a big ass picture of myself clugged in my PaulFrank boxers just because I felt like it!

Happy Chinese New Year to all my lovelies!

It’s that time of the year again where you get to see your distant relatives and relatives you don’t see often, plus family friends you’ve not seen in like a year! Haha, everyone’s all grown up and reached puberty, like finally!!

So anyways, I’m at Penang right now with dad and family, its been the third consecutive year since I’ve travelled up to Penang for CNY. But I do miss my relatives in Malacca. Wonder if mom will layan me and just make a day trip to Malacca before I go off.  MOM???

and 2 more weeks till I’m gone. That’s fast. Maybe my friends are happy cause they don’t have to drive me around anymore. Right???

Bye lovelies, I hope you guys get loads and loads of Angpaos this year, then cheng me in Melbourne haha.

A day with the oven

My grandma scored herself a brand new oven in a lucky draw during my uncle’s company dinner last night. So I decided to do some baking with it haha!

But I failed miserably okay,

It didn’t have the texture of a cookie. Bleh. Something must have went wrong.

But fret not, I will try again.

Today is the new beginning

 

Dear diary,

I went to my dentist to get some tightening done on my braces, and surprisingly enough, today, there was no queue, and I did not have to wait in room 3 but instead, I got called to room 1 and my braces was done in 15 minutes. I usually have to wait about 30 to about 45 minutes , and I always, always hate the wait.

Then mom had some meeting at Midvalley Gardens, so I went and wait for a while, and after she was done, we had some average Japanese food at Yuzu. We had a sashimi platter that consisted of the bluefin tuna, some scallop thingy, flying fish thingy and yellowtail (the most awesome of them all). But Yuzu was just average, and their sets are pretty cheap. Still prefer PJ Hilton for Jap food.

In the car, mom and I exchanged stories about boyfriends, she told me some stories about hers, and I told her how did me and dino happen, blah blah blah, girly stories. Sigh, I wonder if dino will ever become a male chauvenistic pig. and when he does become one, I will tell you.

and then I told her I felt like working to get some extra cash. Haha and she said sure, for 50 bucks a day. and freelance. haha I wonder when I’ll start. Can’t do it tomorrow cause I have some dinner. day after tomorrow? 50 bucks sounds like a good deal, 300 bucks in 6 days?

I just had a sinful chocolate cinammon roll from Saint Cinnamon from Midvalley. Why doesn’t it taste the same as the one I had a few years back?

Sigh.

So I did a few things in Penang, and only a few things because I’m that sort that loves lazing around and hates a packed schedule. I prefer hanging out and just sitting around with people that I enjoy talking to, rather than move here and there. Maybe thats why I’m always so boring. oh well..

So… I’ve always wanted to stroll the beach at night with someone that I really really sayang and I got to do it this year! Haha, Nicholas and Jovy joined me and dino at the Holiday Inn’s beach and we just spent time sitting by the beach, watching the waves and enjoying each other’s company.

Haha these sort of things I enjoy. Not moving around because I suck at being hyper.

and then my second favourite part of Penang was foood. Loved the Northam Beach Cafe that Ryan and Sha brought us. The oh chien (oyster omelette) there was to die for. and Dino ate a total of 6 Penang Har Mee when we were at Penang. crazy.

didn’t join Nicole and the gang much because aside from seeing my friends, I was there for my Penang family as well. Went to visit my mama and also all my ku che and ku ma.

and after going back, I’ve decided to spend my Chinese New Year at Penang again this year instead of Malacca. Meh, though I really miss my Malaccan relatives, I think it’s better for me to go to Penang.

 

I miss him already!!

hehe I love bullying him.

Right now I have two person to miss.

One will not be in Melbourne for two years, and I might possibly not get to see him for that long..

and the other one just left today..

i miss my two sisters!

Josephine slimmed down from when I last saw her during my winter break but jacelyn put on weight! must have been good food she has been gobbling down. and no che che to bring her swimming haha!

this might come as a surprise to some of you, but I’m really good with kids haha. I adore kids though they get a little annoying at times, but I like playing around with them and they’ll always stick to me. I love seeing my little cousin, Jian Yu getting excited when I go over to his place. haha its soooo cute. 

and little Angie is in primary school now! made her egg sandwich to bring to school, exactly like the one shaw taught me, but without pepper cause I hate pepper.

whee, met up with Pram, Alai and Seet today cause they came up from Singapore and they’re staying over at Eric’s place. then we talk crapped over at the Chicken Rice stall for like 3 hours! Good company with good food. Makes me miss Melbourne even more. and also my boyfriend.

But he’s going to be here on Wednesday! and we (as in everyone) are going to Penang to visit Ryan and Sha and have loads of fun and pig out!

I can’t wait! it’s going to feel like Melbourne all over again :]
