You’ll always be my thunder

I told Pram that I’ll cry when he leaves. But too bad, I’m the one leaving a day before him. Hee, sorry Pram. Guess you won’t be seeing me crying for you. With a blink of the eye, three quarters of the year just passed by so fast. I thought it would be a long year, seeing how I’m gonna live without my family and stuff. But they say, time passes when one’s having fun. How true.

I’ve been through patches, but thankfully none that are too bad. Learnt a thing or two about friends. Though they are imperfect, I still love them for their imperfections. One’s view of an imperfection is different from another’s. In the end, it all comes down to this : no one is perfect. And as much time as you spend loathing a friend, that’s when you lose a friend. so beat it, no one is anyone’s best friend.

I’m happier now more than ever. I’ve had the best time of my life this year. however I got upset the other day cause my dino didn’t cook for me like he promised to. but it’s okay. cause that’s another reason to torture him more. i feel like throwing sticks and stones at him. maybe carrots.

oh and i’m totally jealous of my mom’s room right now. I’m so having a trip down to ikea when I’m back. Say hello to a room makeover darlings.

anyways, the economy’s going down to a new low right now. everyone save your cash and spend less! but but, i still wanna go to ikea :p

I was reading my mom’s blog and saw this picture of her wearing my shirt! I wish she hasn’t steal my whole closet yet. Which leads me to thinking, how the hell am I gonna pack up my wardrobe here. I am honestly screwed. Maybe I should leave all my winter stuff here, and my accessories, and my umteen pairs of shoes.

Seriously, how on earth do people pack?

Now I know how packing companies get to earn money. cause hopeless people like me would want their services.

But it’s okay, cause I’m so torturing shaw to pack for me. but then again, he is a complete wreck himself.

Hello people, I’ve watched Saw V and it was awesome. though the twist was a little expected, i liked the part where those five people were put to test and none of them had to die! instead all of them had to work together to survive!

and and I can’t shop anymore, cause if i do, mom’s gonna kill me. plus I have to engage in this self control shopping thingy. Grr. I shall now kiss goodbye to the pretty brown fossil purse and that Gasp white jacket and and. all the Supre dresses. Boohoo.

Right now, i’m looking forward to the ball’s after party. I’m not even excited for the ball. and dino just spent a bomb on his suit. But he looks good in it and I hope it’ll match my dress. but oh well, black goes with everything.

On another note, some people actually look their worst during formal functions. and they put like SO MUCH make up on their face, and they OVER DO their hair. girls, pls don’t.

anyways, I should probably get going and start on my maths now.

** few more days till I’m home! and dino managed to get on the same flight as me! woohoo, how sexy is that.

Spring music fest

the things I did this weekend :

1. had dinner that consisted of 10 pan fried pork dumplings and 10 wicked wings with Dino. It was wicked, we couldn’t finish it. It’s strange, but I can eat more than Dino. He has a freaking small stomach for a guy. and I’ve been trying to shove food at his face so that he can have a flabby tummy and I’ve been preventing him from going to the gym by making plans! he’s been whining saying he’s becoming fatter and fatter thanks to me! but I like tummies. heee.

2. watched Gossip Girl season 2. it is so addictive. I like how Jenny Humphrey looks much better and more matured in this season. also, the fashion for this season is so much more wicked than the previous one. plus Chuck is a total turn on. I wish he would speak in his british accent. so sexy. girls, go youtube and listen to his accent. it can swoon you off your feet. I promise!

3. finished the quickbooks accounting thingy. li shen and I finished the thing in one and a half hour. How awesome is that! we;ve still got to finish the analysis thingy, but that’s pramela’s job cause all he did was help us buy kfc.

4. had so much fun in seven. I can’t wait for the prom’s after party, it’ll be at Seven as well.

5. tried to diet. but failed really badly. I have to diet to fit into my dress, cause as of right now, it feels really really tight (zip up tube dress). ugh, so if i really wanna be flexible with my dress, i’ve gotta lose about a kg? or maybe two. or three. damn you dress.

6. bought a spring cardigan for myself, because all my cardigans are now too thick for spring. Spring’s crazy by the way. we had a week of hot weather, and now it’s back to a cold, cloudy week. I miss the sun. Boo, bring back the sun.

7. had dinner at the Taste of Asia restaurant at Lygon. Had yummy yummy indian mee goreng, spare ribs with black bean sauce and banana leaf fish fillet. I feel like eating there again. and well the only reason we ate there is because my dino backed out on cooking chicken soup for me. baby, why you don’t cook for me wan? ): alai cook for joleen every day you know! got steak summore wan ):

8. realised that my eap presentation is on wed. screwed.

9. fell in love with dino.

She’s so dangeroussss.

Last night was fun! Went to Seven with Dino, ChenYi and Melissa. Pram, ryan and all were supposed to join us, but then ryan got injured during the soccer match and the mood was just gone. But I still went anyway and had tons of fun! Bumped into Yari and her friends over there. Yum yum, can’t wait for prom’s after party.

 

Dino is disgusting. Bye bye. We’re gonna go study maths now.

Built to last

Yesterday was a warm warm day and today we’re “blessed” with some cold breeze. Thanks to whoever’s controlling the weather, I am freezing hun. In about 2 more months, I’ll be leaving Melbourne temporarily, this “home” that I’ve come to love in a short span of 8 months. [AND I LOVE IT EVEN MORE NOW THAT THE EXCHANGE RATE IS ONLY 2.3 TO MALAYSIA RINGGIT. OMG]

Everyone seems so homesick and stuff, but really, if you make the fullest out of your stay here, what is there not to love about Melbourne. besides the weather that can get a little kinky at times, I have no regrets being here at all. I regretted at the beginning of the year, but not anymore. Ever since term 2 started, all I’ve been was happy; only upset at Albert Hse’s food and how I have to tidy up the room by myself. Can you get cashiers greeting you and being all polite to you back in KL? heck no. awesome fish and chips? no. subway white chocolate macadamia cookies? no. booo.

the only thing lacking here is family. and my darling Xin, Sean and WALTER (fat ass). Fly sean, fly here. plssss. i miss you calling me cheeseface
